New Simple Schema: Powering AI & Enhancing Custom Add-Ons

Over the years, we've received many requests from customers like you who'd love to see us document and open up our Beefree Schema (that's the JSON we use to structure designs within the Beefree SDK) so you could generate Beefree-compatible content outside the editor. But because our Beefree JSON powers drag-and-drop functionality and more, it is really complex—and both humans and AI agents were having a hard time understanding it.Â
Enter: Simple Schema, a lightweight alternative JSON that's much more accessible for you (and AI engines.)
As a simpler model, Simple Schema is an intuitive language you can use as a baseline for training AI agents and building templates programmatically outside of Beefree SDK's visual builders. Then, use our Simple-to-Full Schema Conversion API to turn your content into the full Beefree JSON schema so that it’s editable in the editor.Â
